& CONDITIONS
1. Whilst the DanceBitz Roadshow Dj Nige Alan or Dj Adey B will use its best endeavours to attend at the function and give satisfactory performance, should the disco be prevented from doing so for any reason outside its control (including mechanical breakdown, equipment failure, sickness, family emergency’s, act of god weather conditions) the disco shall not incur any liability for its non-appearance. The Dj for the said event will be either Dj Nige Alan or Dj Adey B on behalf of the Dancebitz Roadshow, confirmation of which Dj will be attending, may be available near to the function date if required.
2. In the event of the management wishing to cancel a booking, a cancellation charge of £50 applies payable within 14 days of the cancellation being made. Cancellation may not be made within 28 days of the engagement unless full payment of the fee balance accompanies such cancellation. For your security all cancellations must be made in writing. Any deposit paid is strictly non-returnable and will be deducted from the cancellation fee.
3. The management will allow the disco the detailed sufficient time for his equipment to be set up, and at the completion of the performance, sufficient time to dismantle and remove the equipment from the venue. If at the request or instruction of the management or venue staff/management disco equipment and recorded music is to be left at the venue before or after the event, the management will be liable for any loss or damage howsoever caused to the said equipment during such time it is at the venue. Should the management ask for the equipment to be set up and left before an event, the management agree to acquire adequate comprehensive insurance to cover the equipment during this period.
4. Should the equipment be left at the venue as in clause 3 above, and should circumstances arise which prevents the disco obtaining access in order to effect removal at a mutually agreed time then the management will be liable for additional expenses to cover further appointments for removal of the said equipment. Should the situation arise where the disco requires the equipment for other bookings and is prevented from carrying out these additional bookings due to inability to gain access to the venue then the management will be liable for any loss of earnings thus incurred.
5. The management will be responsible for obtaining ALL types of licences required for the Dj to perform at the booked event; this may include PPL and PRS. The management warrants that he is entitled to use the venue for the purpose of the event and performance.
6. The management will provide a suitable room for the staff involved where they may rest / change prior to, between or after there performance. The disc jockey and his assistants will not be expected to perform without refreshments for more than four hours at a time. The management shall permit the said disco to display its advertising material in any form at the venue. The management agree to The DanceBitz Roadshow taking photos or video of the performance and guests to be used in future promotional/advertising material.
7. The discotheque, the disc-jockey and his assistants shall be in no way liable for any breach of covenants, bye-laws and conditions under which any premises or property are leased, hired or entrusted to the management.
8. The management will be responsible for checking the suitability of the venue when booking professional pyrotechnics bubble/snow/smoke machines and laser equipment, when booking Theatrical Fireworks (Pyrotechnics) Lasers and snow/bubble/smoke machines the management agree to acquire separate Public Liability Insurance to cover this purpose and event as the DanceBitz P.L.I. Insurance does NOT cover this. The management agree to inform and advice all guests’ staff and paying customers at the event when special effects like pyrotechnics, snow, and bubble and smoke machines and laser lighting is to be used in case anyone is suffering from medical conditions that may be affected by these effects. The artiste accepts NO liability when using Pyrotechnics Lasers or Special Effects equipment such as bubble/snow/smoke machines. Should the artiste feel pyrotechnics lasers or special effects machines are not suitable for the room, NO refund will be given unless cancelled 14 days in advance of the booking.
9. Payment MUST be made by cash on the night unless agreed at the time of booking. If the management wish to pay by cheque, this MUST be sent to us 10 days in advance of the booking and we MUST receive a call to tell us a cheque has been posted in advance, if we are NOT told in advance about payments, or cheque payments do not arrive 10 days before the event, payment must be then made by cash on the night and we WILL return any cheques of payment after the event.
10. Although every effort is made to eliminate and minimise, the disc-jockey will NOT be liable for any explicit lyrics that may offend whilst playing recorded or live music.
